Emirates launches installment flights in Kenya via mobile payments, boosting access to air travel.
Emirates has launched a split-payment system in Kenya via Cellulant’s Tingg platform, allowing travelers to buy international flights in up to five instalments using mobile money, mobile banking, or cards.
The service, available from February 25, 2026, helps users bypass mobile wallet transaction limits that previously blocked high-value purchases.
It supports platforms like M-Pesa and Safaricom banking, and is part of Emirates’ expansion of its Dubai–Nairobi route to three daily flights starting March 1, 2026.
The initiative aims to improve access to air travel across Africa by aligning payment options with local habits.
