Zachery Ty Bryan, 'Home Improvement' actor, sentenced to 16 months for DUI in Oregon, his fourth offense, after high BAC and prior convictions.
Zachery Ty Bryan, best known for his role on 'Home Improvement,' received a 16-month sentence in county jail after pleading guilty to a DUI charge in Oregon in November 2024.
His blood alcohol level was 0.15%, nearly double the legal limit, and he admitted to two previous DUI convictions, making this his fourth offense with enhanced penalties.
Bryan was given credit for 57 days already served after the judge denied his probation.
The case arose during a disagreement with his fiancée, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, which resulted in a car accident with their three children inside; no injuries were reported.
The sentencing follows a string of legal issues, including previous DUI arrests in California and Oklahoma, as well as a contempt of court charge.
