SWI Group to buy 38.3% of U.S. data center firm for $330M, boosting AI infrastructure.
SWI Group, a Netherlands-based investment firm with €11 billion in assets, has agreed to acquire a significant stake in a U.S. data center company for $330 million, following a prior $170 million deal.
The transactions, subject to regulatory approval, will give SWI 77.2% of the liquidation preference value and about 38.3% of the total shareholding in the target.
The move expands SWI’s digital infrastructure footprint, complementing its majority investment in Polarise, a European NVIDIA Cloud Partner, to build an integrated AI infrastructure platform.
SWI operates five data centers across Europe and manages investments through a full-cycle approach in real estate, credit, and technology.
