A Polaris Ranger utility terrain vehicle crashed into a tree on a private property in Sandy Creek, Queensland, on Monday, February 23, 2026, resulting in two deaths and multiple injuries.
The 59-year-old driver and a 75-year-old male passenger died at the scene, while a 33-year-old woman was airlifted to Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital in critical condition.
A 50-year-old woman who escaped the vehicle was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
A dog traveling in the vehicle also died.
The UTV has been towed for inspection, and police are investigating the cause of the crash.
