Perth obstetrician Rhys Henry Stone Bellinge, 46, was sentenced to 10 years and six months in prison for the February 2025 fatal crash that killed 24-year-old Elizabeth Pearce in Dalkeith, a riverside suburb of Perth.
Bellinge, who was heavily intoxicated and driving a supercharged Jaguar at high speed, lost control of his vehicle, resulting in her death.
He pleaded guilty to unlawfully causing her death in the Western Australian Supreme Court.
The judge described the crash as an "unguided missile," emphasizing the recklessness and severity of the offense.
Bellinge will be eligible for parole after serving at least eight years and six months.
