Over 3,000 readers across the ACM regional news network have participated in the 2026 reader survey, with 81% saying their local news helps them stay informed about community events and 45% reporting they volunteer locally. The anonymous, 15-minute survey, conducted by ACM and Australian Regional Insights, seeks feedback on news interests including human interest stories, local sports, and politics. Participants may win one of 10 $200 e-gift cards. The results will guide editorial decisions to ensure local journalism remains relevant and community-focused.
