Meghalaya's 2026–27 budget targets a 3.5% fiscal deficit, boosts spending on youth, climate, and gender, and sets record capital investment.
Meghalaya’s Chief Minister Conrad Sangma presented the 2026–27 budget with a projected fiscal deficit of Rs 2,672 crore, or 3.5% of GSDP, within acceptable limits.
