A man was jailed for attacking women on London-bound trains in 2025 and told to stay away from them for five years.
Esosa Eguakin, 31, of Coventry, was sentenced to two years in prison and given a five-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order after pleading guilty to two sexual assaults on women aboard London-bound trains in August and October 2025.
The attacks occurred on separate occasions from Fratton and Eastleigh to London Waterloo, with Eguakin claiming he was retrieving a dropped phone before refusing to move.
An off-duty officer intervened at Woking station, leading to his arrest.
British Transport Police described the incidents as predatory, praising the victims’ courage and urging the public to report sexual offences by texting 61016 or calling 999.
