Kenya’s Wanga and Ghana’s Gonja kingdoms forge first formal alliance under Sister Kingdom Network, enabling land, trade, and cultural cooperation.
The Wanga Kingdom of Kenya and the Gonja Kingdom of Ghana have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding under the Sister Kingdom Network, establishing cooperation in land exchange, youth empowerment, cultural preservation, heritage tourism, and agriculture through the Kingdom Farms Initiative to boost food sovereignty.
The agreement allows citizens of both kingdoms to conduct business, settle, and invest in each other’s territories, with royal representatives to be stationed to protect mutual interests.
This historic partnership marks the first formal collaboration under the SKN, setting a precedent for traditional-led African integration, economic self-determination, and cultural reconnection across the continent.
Additional programs are expected in the coming months.
