UConn coach Geno Auriemma made history with his 655th appearance in the AP women’s basketball Top 25, surpassing Tara VanDerveer for the most all-time by a coach. His undefeated Huskies (29-0) remain unanimously ranked No. 1, leading the nation with 45 straight wins. The top five stayed unchanged, while LSU rose to sixth, Oklahoma to seventh, and Iowa to ninth after defeating Michigan, which dropped to eighth. Tennessee fell out of the poll for the first time this season after a losing streak, and Princeton returned at No. 25. The SEC leads with nine ranked teams.
