Dubai hosts DIAC 2026, a major aquatics event with 2,000+ athletes from 40+ countries, boosting youth Olympic rankings and spotlighting regional talent.
Dubai will host the Dubai International Aquatics Championship (DIAC 2026) from March 27 to April 6 at the Hamdan Sports Complex, expected to draw over 2,000 athletes from more than 40 countries—the largest edition yet.
Organized by the UAE Aquatics Federation with support from the Dubai Sports Council and Apex Sports Academy, the event is recognized by World Aquatics and serves as a ranking pathway for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
It will feature individual events across age categories under international standards.
For the first time, a Record Programme will offer financial rewards and certificates for record-breaking performances in select 50m and 100m events across four strokes.
The championship aims to highlight emerging talent from the Arab region, Asia, and Europe, reinforcing Dubai’s global standing in aquatics.
