A choir of disabled and non-disabled youth performed in Milan to promote inclusion ahead of the 2026 Winter Paralympics.
Ahead of the 2026 Winter Paralympics, the Terzo Tempo choir from Abbiategrasso, Italy, performed a pop concert at Milan’s Sant’Antonio Abate church on February 18, promoting inclusion and unity.
Comprising around 70 teenagers and adults with and without disabilities, the choir used the Gospel metaphor “Like Yeast in the Dough” to highlight quiet yet transformative community impact.
The event, part of the Archdiocese of Milan’s inclusion initiative launched in 2021, connected Paralympic values with everyday life through parish-based oratories—youth centers fostering sports, music, and discussions on belonging.
Choir director Silvia Gatti emphasized songs about perseverance and dedication, reflecting shared values across sports and life.
The performance underscored the Church’s commitment to lasting inclusion, using cultural events to inspire social change and ensure all individuals feel welcomed and valued.
