Charles Bediako appeals to Alabama's Supreme Court to play for Alabama amid ongoing legal challenges.
Charles Bediako, a former University of Alabama basketball player who went undrafted and played in the NBA G League, has appealed to the Alabama Supreme Court for interim relief to resume playing for the Crimson Tide.
After a February 9 ruling denied his request for a preliminary injunction, Bediako, who previously played in five games under a temporary restraining order, remains enrolled and practices with the team but has not competed since.
His legal team argues the urgency of the season and the possibility the Supreme Court may not rule in time.
The appeal seeks to allow him to play while the case is reviewed.
