Aalyria Technologies raised $100M to expand its AI-powered satellite network tech for commercial and defense use by 2026.
Aalyria Technologies, a space networking startup spun off from Alphabet’s X lab, has raised $100 million in Series B funding at a $1.3 billion valuation, led by Battery Ventures and J2 Ventures.
The company, founded in 2021, develops software and hardware for satellite communications, including its Spacetime platform, which uses AI and digital twins to optimize network performance and predict disruptions.
Its Tightbeam laser terminal enables high-speed, secure data transmission.
The funding will expand its technology adoption, support ground-based optical links, and accelerate integration with commercial and defense satellite networks, including plans to deploy across major low Earth orbit constellations by late 2026.
