Three men, including two in jail, face felony drug charges after synthetic marijuana was found during custody or traffic stops.
Thomas Dustin Douglas, 31, of Rome, faces new felony charges for possessing synthetic marijuana, or "Spice," while incarcerated at Floyd County Jail, following a report of contraband.
He was previously arrested in 2025 for a gunpoint robbery.
Meanwhile, 19-year-old Jakevis Amonie Brooks of Cartersville was jailed on multiple drug charges after a traffic stop revealed marijuana, THC vape pens, cash, and drug packaging.
Nicholas Andrew Jones, 37, also of Rome, was charged with felony possession of synthetic marijuana while in jail, having been booked in late January on a probation violation.
All individuals remain in custody.
