A New Delhi exhibition showcases Indian handloom textiles, connecting rural weavers directly with urban buyers to boost incomes and promote sustainability.
A week-long handloom exhibition, "Parishkriti – Perfection Interlaced," is being held in New Delhi from February 22 to 28, 2026, at the India International Centre, showcasing traditional Indian textiles.
Organized by the Ministry of Textiles, it brings national award-winning weavers from across India, including artisans from Varanasi and West Bengal, to sell handwoven products directly to consumers.
The event aims to eliminate intermediaries, boost artisans’ earnings, and promote sustainable fashion.
Now in its second year, it is being developed into an annual platform to strengthen ties between rural weavers and urban markets.
