The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested Kolapo Oladapo Raji, 57, chairman and CEO of Trans Fortress Global Resources, on February 12, 2026, in Lagos after he returned from the UK.
Authorities seized 89.20kg of Canadian Loud cannabis and a 2024 Toyota Hilux from his home.
Raji admitted to initially financing drug shipments for an overseas associate before launching his own network.
Related operations nationwide resulted in the seizure of large quantities of skunk, codeine syrup, and tramadol, along with the destruction of cannabis farms in Edo State.
The NDLEA said the actions were part of a broader strategy to combat drug supply and demand.
