Ashleigh Nelson made a successful Winter Olympics debut in 2026, finishing 15th in the two-woman bobsleigh with pilot Adele Nicoll, just two years after switching from track and field.
The pair improved from 21st after the first run, posting a season-best 57.80-second final run.
Nelson, who competed in the 2008 and 2020 Summer Games, became only the second British woman to compete in both Summer and Winter Olympics.
Nicoll, making her Olympic debut, also finished 18th in the monobob and emerged as a rising talent in British bobsleigh.
