Aldi recalls Bremer frozen meatballs over metal contamination risk; no illnesses reported.
Frozen meatballs sold by Aldi under the Bremer brand are being recalled due to possible metal contamination. The recall, announced by the USDA on February 22, 2026, covers about 9,462 pounds of ready-to-eat meatballs produced on July 30, 2025, with a “BEST BY” date of October 30, 2026. The products were made by Rosina Food Products Inc. in West Seneca, New York, and distributed nationwide. No illnesses have been reported, but consumers are urged to discard the meatballs or return them to Aldi. The recall was prompted by a consumer complaint about metal fragments.
