Activists displayed a photo of Prince Andrew at the Louvre, citing misconduct allegations, sparking debate on protest art and media scrutiny.
On February 22, 2026, activists from the group Everyone Hates Elon spent approximately fifteen minutes displaying a picture of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Prince Andrew, inside the Louvre Museum in Paris.
He was seen leaving a Norfolk police station in the photo, which was taken after he was arrested on February 19 on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
With the caption, "He's Sweating Now," the display alluded to previous scandals, such as Virginia Giuffre's accusations and his connection to Jeffrey Epstein.
Denying any wrongdoing, Mountbatten-Windsor was released while being investigated and is still the eighth in line for the British throne.
No charges have been made, and the installation was taken down by the Louvre.
The act generated debate about public figures, protest art, and media scrutiny after it was extensively shared online.
