Six Bangladeshi migrant workers arrested in Tamil Nadu over suspected pro-Pakistan terror links and fake IDs.

Six Bangladeshi migrant workers were arrested in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, by a Delhi Police special team on suspicion of posting pro-Pakistan terrorist content and using fake Aadhaar cards to work in the garment industry. Eight mobile phones and sixteen SIM cards were seized. The arrests follow intelligence warnings of a potential terror threat near Delhi’s Red Fort, including a possible IED attack on a temple in Chandni Chowk, allegedly linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba seeking to avenge a mosque blast in Islamabad. The Tiruppur Exporters’ Association said it will urge exporters to strengthen identity checks on migrant workers.
