The Odisha government approved 10 major industrial projects worth ₹44,200 crore, including a ₹9,731 crore pumped storage hydropower plant by Adani Group, a ₹4,620 crore semiconductor chip plant by ASP Semicon, and a ₹3,000 crore aerospace unit by Bharat Forge.
Other projects span renewable energy, rare earths, cement, and telecom, with investments in Deogarh, Koraput, Kalahandi, and Puri.
The initiatives are expected to create 8,765 jobs across eight districts.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi emphasized timely execution through streamlined approvals, improved coordination, and on-the-ground problem-solving to boost investment and industrial growth.
