A man was shot and killed outside a Marrero business on Feb. 21, 2026; investigation ongoing.

A man was fatally shot outside a business in the 6300 block of Acre Road in Marrero on February 21, 2026, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office. Deputies responded at 11:18 a.m. to a disturbance report and found the man unresponsive with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not identified the victim, suspect, or motive, and the investigation remains ongoing.
