HYDRAA removed illegal structures from 7 acres in Hyderabad, restoring land meant for public facilities.
On February 21, 2026, HYDRAA cleared seven acres of land in Kondapur, Hyderabad, worth ₹1,400 crore, of illegal encroachments by shops, sheds, and an apartment building.
The land, designated in 1993 for a junior college, school, parks, and community hall, had been misused despite being ineligible for regularization under urban land rules.
Following a resident complaint via HYDRAA’s Prajavani program, officials confirmed the violations, removed structures, fenced the area, and installed signage to designate it for public use.
