A former Sainsbury’s worker was fined and banned from driving after driving the wrong way in a car park, hitting a couple, causing serious injuries.
Beth Logan, 28, a former Sainsbury’s assistant manager, was fined £906 and banned from driving for 12 months after driving the wrong way out of a Windermere store car park on October 23, 2025, and striking a woman and her husband.
The woman suffered a broken leg requiring surgery, while the man was knocked down.
Logan, who admitted the offense due to a momentary lapse in concentration, was not under the influence of alcohol, stopped immediately, and was offered a new job at Aldi.
She was also ordered to pay a £362 victim surcharge and £85 in court costs.
