The talks, prompted by a seven-day ultimatum from the Chakhroma Youth Organisation, included an apology from Maova officials, but CPO vice president Sebastian Zumvü stressed the violence stemmed from an unresolved land dispute along NH 129A.
While both sides expressed commitment to peace, no resolution was reached, and Zumvü said next steps depend on Maova Village.
No fatalities were reported.
