He reviewed a 1,600 MW ultra-supercritical thermal plant in Godda, Jharkhand, costing over Rs 16,000 crore, which supplies electricity exclusively to Bangladesh and has created thousands of jobs.
In Bihar, he assessed progress on a planned 2,400 MW power project near Bhagalpur, valued at over Rs 27,000 crore, expected to be completed in four to five years.
The projects, part of the Adani Group’s growing infrastructure presence in eastern India, aim to meet rising energy demand and boost local economies.
Adani also visited the Baba Baidyanath Temple in Deoghar, performing rituals and calling the visit spiritually significant.
He met with workers and tribal women, emphasizing a people-first approach.
