Sam Fender and Olivia Dean have reached number one on the UK singles chart with "Rein Me In," 35 weeks after its initial release, setting a record for the longest climb to the top of the UK chart, surpassing Ed Sheeran’s "Thinking Out Loud."
The duet, originally from Fender’s Mercury Prize-winning album *People Watching*, features a new verse by Dean and marks Fender’s first UK number one single despite three number one albums.
