A man’s fiancée’s doodle revealed a change that led to his testicular cancer diagnosis and successful treatment.
A 29-year-old Northampton man, Ed Baldwin, says a doodle of his testicle by his fiancée prompted him to seek medical care, leading to a testicular cancer diagnosis in October 2024.
He had initially been treated for epididymitis in 2024, but persistent pain led him to return to the hospital.
The drawing helped him recognize a visible change, resulting in an ultrasound and blood tests that confirmed cancer.
He underwent surgery and chemotherapy, was declared cancer-free in January 2025, and now urges men to heed bodily changes and seek timely medical advice.
