A man died in a head-on crash on Pennsylvania Route 982 after driving the wrong way and colliding with another vehicle.
A fatal head-on crash on Route 982 in Bullskin Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, occurred Friday afternoon around 4 p.m. when David Lancaster, 50, of Mount Pleasant, drove the wrong way on the road, crossed into oncoming traffic while rounding a curve, and collided with another vehicle.
Lancaster died at the scene, confirmed by the Fayette County coroner’s office.
The other driver was not injured.
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating, but no further details about the cause were released.
