Jared McCain scored a season-high 21 points in his first game for the Oklahoma City Thunder, helping the shorthanded team defeat the Brooklyn Nets 105-86. The former 76ers guard, acquired in a February trade, shot 7-of-12 from the field and made three 3-pointers off the bench. Oklahoma City led 50-33 at halftime after holding Brooklyn to 3-of-17 shooting in the second quarter, the lowest-scoring half allowed this season. Chet Holmgren added 15 points, and Isaiah Joe, Isaiah Hartenstein, and Lu Dort each scored 10. The Nets shot 36.7% and committed 21 turnovers. Michael Porter Jr. led Brooklyn with 22 points. The Thunder, missing key players due to injury, improved to 41-22 and face Cleveland on Sunday.
