Indian food safety authorities seized over 13,972 liters of adulterated oil, 1,350 kg of colored waste, and other food items in Kanpur, including a fake ghee unit, as part of a pre-festival crackdown.
Raids also targeted cold storage facilities, dairies, and sweet shops in Lucknow and Rae Bareli, with goods valued at ₹5.45 lakh confiscated.
