FEMA has extended the deadline to apply for disaster assistance from the October 2025 West Coast storms to April 3, 2026, covering federal, state, and SBA programs.
The extension includes newly added communities in Western Alaska, with $36 million in aid approved for 2,084 households.
Assistance includes up to $42,500 for home repairs and $42,500 for other needs.
Over 2,100 residents have registered, and evacuees from storm-affected areas are being relocated from temporary housing.
