Australian volunteers deliver handmade "angel boxes" to grieving families, supporting over 2,600 families since last year.
Volunteer groups in Australia, including Treasured Babies and the Croydon Men’s Shed, are delivering handmade "angel boxes" filled with tiny clothes, blankets, and keepsakes to families grieving stillbirth, miscarriage, or neonatal death.
Coordinated with Red Nose Australia, the initiative provides free, dignified support to over 2,600 families and 755 angel boxes in the past year.
Volunteers, many with personal loss experience, craft items from donated materials and deliver them after referrals from hospitals or support organizations.
The boxes help parents honor their babies, offering comfort and a lasting memory during profound grief.
