A 36-year-old man from Armidale was charged with drug offenses, firearm possession, and resisting police after a raid uncovered cannabis, cocaine, weapons, and cash.

A 36-year-old man from Armidale faces multiple charges after being arrested on February 19 during a police raid on a home in Bailey Crescent. Officers executed a search warrant following allegations he resisted entry. Authorities seized 2.6 kilograms of dried cannabis, cocaine, a gel blaster, ammunition, a handheld Taser, cash, digital scales, and other drug-related items. He is charged with supplying and possessing prohibited drugs, dealing with proceeds of crime, possessing an unauthorized firearm, using a prohibited weapon without a permit, and resisting police. The man was granted conditional bail and is scheduled to appear at Armidale Local Court on March 30.
