A 12-year-old boy was threatened and robbed of his electric bike in West End Park, Coatbridge, on February 11, 2026, around 4:30 p.m. Police are seeking a white male, average height, slim build, with ginger hair and stubble, wearing dark clothing, who fled toward King Street. The boy was unharmed but shaken. Authorities are urging witnesses or those with CCTV or dash-cam footage to contact police on 101 with incident number 2966 or anonymously via Crimestoppers. The investigation is ongoing.
