The Miami Heat may get a boost in their playoff chase with Tyler Herro’s potential return Friday against the Atlanta Hawks, his first game since January after missing 45 games due to injuries. Herro, averaging 21.9 points, practiced Thursday and said he feels ready. Miami, eighth in the East, is 1.5 games out of the play-in tournament, while the Hawks, ninth, snapped a three-game losing streak with a 117-107 win over the 76ers, led by Jalen Johnson’s 32 points and 10 rebounds. Miami upgraded rookie Myron Gardner to a standard contract, and Atlanta signed Caleb Houstan to a standard deal. The teams meet again on April 12 in Miami.
