Owners of a Maryland crematorium charged with improper disposal of human remains, including an infant’s body found at their home.
Brandon Angelo Williams, 50, and Rosa Iyonna Williams, 48, owners of Heaven Bound Crematorium in Charles County, Maryland, have been charged with eight counts each of improper disposal of human remains, including one involving a two-month-old infant whose body was found decomposing at their home in January 2025.
The crematorium, shut down in January 2026 after inspectors found bodies in cardboard boxes and a broken cremation chamber, had a history of regulatory violations.
The Williamses face criminal charges and arrest warrants, while more than two dozen civil lawsuits allege fraud, negligence, and emotional distress, with families questioning the authenticity of ashes they received.
Court dates are pending.
