Solicitors for HansaWorld, a Limerick software company, have withdrawn from a High Court case after a proposed settlement with executive Jennifer O’Carroll collapsed due to discrepancies in the agreement.
O’Carroll, the company’s chief operations officer, alleged CEO Karl Bohlin misused company funds for personal expenses, including housing and jobs for girlfriends he reportedly selected via illicit websites.
She claimed Bohlin prioritized personal relationships over business operations.
The original lawyers cited a breakdown in communication and inability to proceed, prompting the court to approve their withdrawal.
New legal representation has been appointed, and the case will now be scheduled for a hearing.
