India's Health Minister urges AIIMS reforms: patient care, AI integration, and faster hiring.

Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda stressed the need for patient-centered care, institutional collaboration, and quality standards during a leadership conclave for India’s 20 AIIMS campuses. He called for structured patient feedback systems, integration of AI and telemedicine, and faster recruitment to fill nearly 13,000 teaching vacancies. Nadda emphasized coordinated growth, transparency, and partnerships with IITs and IIMs to advance research in rare diseases and medical innovation, while ensuring affordable medicine outlets are established at all AIIMS.
