Health Canada has recalled over 140 sunshade and alternating blinds made by Stores d’aujourd’hui Gatineau Inc. sold in Canada between March and December 2025 due to serious safety risks, including strangulation and choking hazards from looped cords and detachable parts. The agency urges consumers to stop using the products immediately, replace them with cordless alternatives, and report incidents through Health Canada’s system. The recall was announced on February 18, 2026.
