The Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) will fully open on February 22, 2026, connecting Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan to Modipuram in Meerut in about 58 minutes. The 82-kilometer corridor, now fully completed, includes a 21-kilometer Meerut Metro segment operating at up to 120 km/h and sharing tracks with high-speed Namo Bharat trains. Trains will run every 10 minutes, offering standard and premium class options with fares from ₹20 to ₹225. The system features modern stations with platform screen doors, accessibility features, and real-time tracking via the Namo Bharat Connect App. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the service.
