Mikaela Rivas, 40, of Delta County, Colorado, was charged with 141 counts of cruelty to animals after more than 150 pets and livestock were found in unsanitary conditions on a western Colorado property on February 5.
Deputies, with state and nonprofit partners, executed a search warrant and discovered animals without food, water, or proper care, many in poor health and requiring urgent medical treatment.
Multiple deceased animals were also found.
