Banyan Gold has launched a fully funded 40,000-meter diamond drilling program at its AurMac Project in Yukon’s Tombstone Gold Belt, focusing on expanding high-grade gold and silver zones at the Airstrip and Powerline deposits. The 2026 exploration campaign prioritizes extending mineralization along strike and down-dip, with 80% of the budget allocated to these targets. The remaining 20% will test 10 previously unexplored regional prospects across the 720-square-kilometer land package using geophysics, soil sampling, and AI-driven analysis to identify potential reduced intrusion-related gold systems. Over 95% of the land remains undrilled, and the project lies near Mayo, accessible via highway. Supporting work includes metallurgical testing, environmental studies, and a preliminary economic assessment expected by late 2026.
