Audi has launched the first plug-in hybrid RS5, available as a sedan or Avant, combining a 2.9-liter V6 with an electric motor for 470kW and 825Nm, enabling 0-100km/h in 3.6 seconds and over 80km of electric range. It features advanced quattro all-wheel drive with rear torque vectoring, redesigned suspension, and a 25.9kWh battery charged via 11kW AC in 2.5 hours. The car weighs around 2,355–2,370kg, reducing rear boot space to 331 liters. Starting at €106,200 in Germany, prices are expected to rise similarly in Australia, with deliveries beginning in 2026.
