Amarc Resources discovered a third porphyry copper-gold system, TWINS, near its AuRORA Deposit in British Columbia, with strong drilling results and potential for expansion.
Amarc Resources has confirmed a third porphyry copper-gold system, named TWINS, at its JOY District in British Columbia’s Toodoggone region, 17 km southeast of the AuRORA Deposit.
Located along the PINE Porphyry Trend, the discovery is marked by a large IP chargeability anomaly and significant drilling results, including 300 meters at 0.51 g/t gold and 0.23% copper.
The system shows potassic alteration and chalcopyrite mineralization, indicating strong potential.
The AuRORA Deposit now spans 1.4 km by 800 m and remains open.
Over 32,000 meters of drilling was completed in 2024–2025, with plans for further exploration in 2026.
The project is jointly held by Amarc (40%) and Freeport-McMoRan (60%).
