Two Massachusetts officials sentenced in 2026 for stealing union funds and fraud.
Dana A. Pullman, former president of the State Police Association of Massachusetts, and lobbyist Anne M. Lynch were sentenced in 2026 to two years and 15 months in prison, respectively, for a scheme involving kickbacks, fraud, and tax evasion.
The sentencing followed their 2022 conviction on charges including racketeering, wire fraud, and obstruction of justice.
From 2012 to 2018, they allegedly misused union funds, including a $20,000 kickback from a state settlement and personal expenses like luxury meals and travel.
A federal appeals court upheld core convictions after overturning some charges.
Both were ordered to pay restitution, with Pullman to pay $43,915 and Lynch $41,795.
Federal officials called the actions a betrayal of public trust.
