Two Atlanta men charged after 5 kg fentanyl bust in coordinated raids.

Two men from metro Atlanta, Osiel Adame-Gomez, 27, and Miguel Velazquez-Garcia, 26, were charged federally after authorities seized 5 kilograms of fentanyl in coordinated operations. DEA agents tracked Adame-Gomez to a Doraville warehouse on February 5, where a search of a storage unit uncovered one kilogram of fentanyl. Four days later, DeKalb County police stopped Velazquez-Garcia in Stone Mountain, leading to the discovery of another kilogram in his vehicle and three more kilograms at homes in Stone Mountain and Stonecrest, along with significant cash. Both men face federal charges of possession with intent to distribute and were ordered held without bond. The bust is part of broader efforts to disrupt fentanyl distribution networks.
