Costello, in his 30s, was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison with a minimum of 21 years, though he claimed no memory of the attack.
Allison expressed enduring grief, anger, and hatred toward the killer, describing him as a "monster," while also mourning the suicide of her younger brother, Niki, after learning details of Taylor’s death during the trial.
