Indian authorities seized ₹82 crore in property tied to a defunct Gurugram project that defrauded over 1,000 investors.

The Enforcement Directorate has attached ₹82 crore in immovable property linked to the Ansal Hub-83 commercial project in Gurugram, alleging fraud by promoters who sold units without valid approvals after their license expired in 2015. The project, involving over 1,000 investors, collected funds until 2023 despite no progress, with money allegedly diverted for personal use. The ED’s action under PMLA aims to prevent asset transfer, following a 2023 FIR by Haryana Police and complaints from investors.
